Can't see the cam, either, although it comes up every now and then. Can't tell you how many online jigsaw puzzles I have done today:-). | cathleen | 08/02/06 06:21 pm | Cam down problem IS the traffic, I am sure now. Yes, I visited the Renton, WA site briefly today out of curiosity about the Flag fledging PR disaster. There's a whole MESS of people turned on to the Puleston site. That's why we have most problems starting in the afternoon. Eek. I guess it is bound to happen one way or another. I just stumbled upon this site and was happy to find it. I can't imagine how you original four from three years ago feel about having your viewing "hijacked" even though it belongs to all. The only thing I have thought of as a solution is to have viewers register somehow... But it creates its own problems... I also hope he fledges when you early birds are watching tomorrow so SOMEONE here gets to see it... |
| AnneUK | 08/02/06 07:21 pm | I'm being tough on myself when I do get on there and not staying on for too long. But I think there are thousands of us looking in. Someone posted the other day (sorry I can't remember who as I'm only flitting on and off) that they'd posted something, maybe a photo?, and it had had 150,000 hits! I think that was the figure anyway - it was certainly incredibly huge. Just imagine - there are about 20 people who post obs and messages yet there are all those out there who tune into the cam. I'm still trying to get my head round it. Or did I read it wrong? I do get the wrong end of the stick sometimes, so perhaps I did. I think Flag will fly tomorrow! :) |
