| FOB Webmaster | 12/28/06 10:44 am | Photographer Bob Montanaro is starting his 2006-2007 osprey log, which follows the exploits of ospreys at Florida's Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge -- the nation's first wildlife refuge. Nesting should begin in February, but Bob has been posting amazing photos of the ospreys getting ready for the season, as well as lots of interesting photos showing the local wildlife. Whatever led to our friends demise certainly had "anger issues" re ospreys :) Those are some of the best pictures I have seen, just great. I'm close to the DPOF nest but man the Pelican Island NWR has to be close to heaven on earth. Tks again for heads-up. Happy New Year to all. |
