What a morning with Picture Trail. I deleted the message above Mare's with my early morning photos(before 6am)...don't ask...Anyways, here are the photos from this morning taken before 6am and finally ending with breakfast after 6...I have to step away from Picture Trail!!

They are great, Celeste. I haven't tried Picture Trail, but I have my own swell time with Photo Bucket, which has so much traffic that it is hard to get in there sometimes. I have heard about problems at Flickrs, too, so I'm staying with PB for now. I am so glad you are there, on scene, and that you get up so early. If it weren't for insomnia, I wouldn't have been here at all this morning. Going back to bed now, as a matter of fact.
Betty looks so pretty, and the baby looks fine. Now, for those other two eggs!

Yes I saw we were on the same "wavelength" this morning with posting pix almost simultaneously. I was busy trying to maintain my patience with Picture trail. You got great captures also. Yes I am up with the birds....for me it's my "peace" time. |

I like the one with Betty looking right at the cam...it's like she knows you were watching her :-) |

Nice captures Celeste and Trishrg....shows me what I'm missing by being asleep till 11:30. As you can see, I'm not up with the birds. |

Good pics, both of you. Now that the cam has zoomed in, isn't it remarkable how keen and sharp Betty's eyes look? I don't think you could put anything over on her!

The chick is very beautiful and the parents seem to be taking good care of it (I'm glad birds didn't evaluate my parenting skills). Its hard to imagine that being the first born, it may become the dominant chick - we'll see. |
