| Pam | 12/21/07 12:37 pm | Some really good news. Japan has agreed to halt killing Humpback Whales for at least 1-2 years. The public outcry against their cruelty has been so huge they have agreed to back off with regard to Humpbacks at least. However, the battle is not yet fully won, they still intend to continue killing Minke and fin whales for scientific reasons. Thanks to all of you who did your bit by signing the petition. |

Japan's "research" useof killed whales. I have to wonder if they really think the world at large buys the "research" reasoning for killing whales!? Lyn |

If the Japanese want to survive as a Nation they better look toward other forms of food because if they deplete the seas of their kind of food they will perish just like other animals that fail to adapt to the environment they find themselves living in. I believe they call it , Darwin's theory of adaptation. |
