Anne UK1 08/12/09 11:09 am I've just realised all the osprey pages have been updated on Roy's site now too. It's a much better layout than previously I think - just takes a bit of getting used to. I like the way putting the mouse over photos instantly enlarges them - though that doesn't work so well for comparing one year with another as I was trying to do with Beatrice's route. A minor irritation though in the grand scheme of things, and maybe there's a way round it ... ?
Anne 08/12/09 11:24 am Hey I had not even noticed that. Thanks.
Liz 08/12/09 01:43 pm What's Roy's site?
Anne UK1 08/12/09 04:27 pm It's here Liz Roy Dennis

Sadly Logie disappeared just after setting off on Autumn migration last year - she was the original star of the site I believe. Nimrod is a male who was tracked south in the Autumn and back again this spring, as were females Morven and Beatrice (all adults). There's another male to be added this year - Morven's mate who was tagged this summer.

There are sections on other birds too - someone else will remember, as the name escapes me right now, of the little bird that was followed on its migration to Russia. And the golden eagle section of course, with the sad news of Alma :(

The site's still being reconstructed so not everything's there yet, but there's a fair bit to study.
Anne UK1 08/12/09 04:37 pm Postscript on Beatrice from Roy's Blog - she's 50 miles north of Rutland Water so they're going to keep a look out for her tomorrow to see if she makes a repeat of her visit last year.
