Shelley 05/16/04 07:10 am The day dawns bright, sunny and calm over our nest. Thankfully, there doesn't appear to be much more than a gentle breeze thus far today. I don't know how it is there, temperature-wise but here in Toronto, when I went to take in the morning paper just now, I could see my breath!! Sheesh! Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, it was so hot and humid, I wore sandals, a tank top and only a light blouse over it to work. Definitely summer. Yesterday, it cooled right down again and today we are back to, well, I'd prefer to call it *early spring*...at least it's sunny here, too, and not overcast and gray like yesterday. I intend to spend a good portion of it trying to convince my garden that it's ok to come out and play now.

And of course, I'll give myself frequent little *osprey* breaks... ;-)

(is it the angle of the sun or my warped imagination but it looks to me like a crumpled dollar bill in the 3 o'clock position in the nest.....?)
Shelley 05/16/04 07:13 am Hehehe, I just went to read the observation board and I realize now that my *dollar bill* is actually the remains of the fish from this morning's breakfast! ROFLMAO!
