Shelley 05/19/04 06:23 am Shouldn't that white egg be just about ready by now.....?
Celeste 05/19/04 06:49 am It sounds cruel, but we almost have to hope that egg doesn't hatch....each succeeding chick weighs less and less than the first born....hence their survival is slim.
Shelley 05/19/04 07:08 am I know, that was my thought, as well. But, on some level, I'm still so curious to see if it's really an osprey.....I know the colour of the egg is not really the issue, as documented in the book, but it IS larger than the others were.....

And how will Matt ever get out??
Kathy 05/19/04 10:02 am That is an Osprey egg, if you go to the highlight clips you will see the egg arrived on the 14th.
Looks like "white egg" will not hatch.
Sorry Matt.
Matt 05/19/04 10:04 pm Thats ok Kathy. Shelley, the eggs can be white, pink or buff eggs blotched with brown. What we saw on the other three were pretty much the latter. The fourth just happens to be white.
