Thread subject: One last thought about the chick's ultimate survival
Name Date Message
Celeste 05/20/04 05:27 pm Although none of us will find it comfortable to watch some of the things that may happen in the nest, I think there is a lesson even in watching some of this uncomfortable "stuff". If anything, it should enlighten us to the fact that with all the obstacles that these chicks have to endure just to fledge; makes it more important than ever that we are responsible for the "health" of our environment so that we can at least insure that whatever chicks eventually survive and fledge, can thrive to raise chicks of their own.
Shelley 05/20/04 06:58 pm Well said, Celeste and so true. Thank you for that
Kathy 05/20/04 07:35 pm Excellent Celeste!!
Marci 05/20/04 09:27 pm Great point..:)
RonS 05/21/04 08:25 am Amen, Celeste.
It's also by overcoming these first obstacles that the chicks get strong enough to face the challenges of their lives as they occur.
