Mickey 04/08/04 09:05 pm Shelly.........the object in the 3pm position is bark.
Matt......I stopped watching at around 7:50. This fish piece was still there in the 12:00 position on the rim. It was dead. Im glad the 2nd egg was laid.It had to be at my 4pm observation.
2 down.....10 to go lol
RonS 04/08/04 09:10 pm Hey, Mickey; Do you recall if you heard any "labor grunts"? Tom wasn't sure if they occur during the daytime or if they just happen at night.
Mickey 04/08/04 09:17 pm Ron.......I was watching the 4pm ob very closely and did not hear any grunts. In all fairness, it was raining lightly and a 5 mph wind with gusts. It was all rather sureal watching it though. My observation pretty much described what I saw. I tried to be precise because I had a feeling by how she acted in the nest and to Dennis.
Shelley 04/08/04 09:21 pm Mickey, does that bark look so white just because it's dark and maybe the infrared light (or whatever it is) is casting some kind of reflection? Or is it just new, there? I can't recall noticing it before. Of course, it's entirely possible that it's been there all along and I just have been preoccupied with other things going on....
Mickey 04/08/04 09:27 pm Shelly.....One of the Adults flipped it there from the center sometime today.I dont know why its shining. Maybe a adult pooped on it or the light is shining of it cause its wet? Im only guessing why. But as of 7:50 it was bark and no one had pooped on it.
