Thread subject: Happy CANADA DAY July 1st.
Name Date Message
Marie 07/01/04 02:28 am Happy Canada Day to all you Canadians out there that happen to check this web site out. Have fun what ever you do today and remember what a GREAT country Canada is.
Celeste 07/01/04 04:08 am Ah, now I know why I heard my husband playing "Oh Canada" on one of the many Canadian websites he checks out on the computer yesterday!! Since he is 5 he has NEVER missed a summer fishing on the Rideau Lakes in Ontario. We both love Canada and the many Canadians we have met. Happy Canada Day to all of you! I know that it will be one of the first things he will mention when he wakes up today! (He notifies me also when it is your Thanksgiving Day in October also!)
Shelley 07/01/04 06:29 am Thanks, and same to you, even if you are not Canadian!!

(pretend I'm waving a little flag here!!)
RonS 07/01/04 09:18 am I, too, add my wishes for a happy holiday to our Northern neighbors.
Cecilia 07/01/04 09:41 am I grew up spending my summers on a Lake in Ontario so Canada will always be my favorite second home! Happy Canada Day to all!
Kathy 07/01/04 11:17 am OH Canada! Happy Canada Day.
Marie 07/01/04 07:00 pm So far my Canada day has seen me out in the Bush One and a half hours drive out of Victoria chasing after a really rare bird that was seen at 6am today. A number of us Birders headed out at 8.30 am but dispite four hours trecking through the bush we couldn't see this secretive, Yellow-billed Cuckoo. It is a bird seen in the East. You probably have them in New York State. They are seen also in Mexico and California. It would have been a lovely sighting for it is a big bird of 12 inches. That is unfortunately what happens in chasing after rareties...you don't always get to see them! Now to check out the Osprey chicks.
Lori 07/01/04 11:04 pm It's late but still the 1st here! Happy Holiday to my northern neighbors! Hope you enjoyed!!!
