Shelley 04/13/04 07:43 pm On my screen, it looks like the driving rain is coming in diagonally from the right side of the frame, toward the left. Betty is sitting there FACING INTO the rain. Why would she not at least turn so her back is to the rain?

Suddenly, the term *birdbrain* comes to mind....
Mickey 04/13/04 07:48 pm My guess and its just a guess is shes head first into the wind for aerodynamics and safety. If her rear was into the wind, she could be blown out.
Just a passing thought.
Shelley 04/13/04 07:50 pm Sounds logical enough! No wonder I missed that point, I was never much good at science. Thanks, Mickey. Sorry, Betty... ;-)
Shelley 04/13/04 08:21 pm Guess that makes *me* the birdbrain, huh?

Shelley, hanging my head in shame... ;-)
Matt 04/13/04 09:21 pm Mickey, you are correct. In the 2003 archives in the highlight clips, one of the Ospreys got flipped over by the wind because he/she bent over too far.
