Thread subject: Yet ANOTHER egg question

||I haven't seen Betty stand up yet this morning but if she did not lay another egg last night, she will have broken that every-third-day laying cycle. Does this mean she's done? Does anyone know?

||Don't know about the egg situation Shelly...but I sure would love to see a fish delivery. I'm curious what type of fish they'e eating. As much as I have been watching I've only see one come in and the male had eaten half of it so I couldn't ID it. Has anyone positively identified any of the meals?

||When I watched Betty stand up 2 minutes ago, there were only 4 eggs. Actually its good that she did not lay a 5th one. That one most likely would not have hatched, and even if it did, his survival rate would be extremely low.

||Jack, the one Dennis brought at around 8:47 am looks like it might be a striped bass or a large-mouth bass? It was hard to tell as I could not get a good look at it. I am not sure if the water here is brackish or not. If it is, it may not be a largemouth bass. I'm not sure either if there are striped bass in the area at this time of year.

||Thanks for that Matt....They do have salt ,fresh, and brackish water available to them close by. I know there are largemouth in the lake north of the highway as well as trout and of course sunfish. It is possible that there are some stripers in the bay and river also
