Pam 07/18/05 04:34 pm Nothing to do with birds at all but a spectacular cam - the most beautiful setting for a theatre imaginable at: http://www.minack.com/min02_7.htm
Does anyone know the play which is being performed? This cam is in Cornwall and I have stayed at the beach just underneath the cliff where the theatre is but have not been to a performance.
Celeste 07/18/05 05:03 pm Thank you Pam! When I checked you can just see the audience, no one is on stage at the time I checked.
Pam 07/18/05 05:10 pm Not worth bothering now Celeste as it is dark and you cannot see the sea and cliffs in the background. It looked so beautiful earlier, I just felt like sharing.
Melanie 07/18/05 10:10 pm La Boheme http://www.minack.com/theatregoers/availability_2005.htm Looks like a neat season - everything from Broadway to Shakespeare to Gilbert & Sullivan. Neat stuff!
Pam 07/19/05 07:46 am Nice bit of detective work Melanie! The clues were the attic and the Parisian type posters. Have a look in daylight some time.
Cecilia 07/19/05 08:56 am What an amazing location for a theater! So beautiful...I don't know how you could watch the play:-)
Melanie 07/19/05 10:12 am Can you imagine them doing Pirates of Penzance there? Perfect setting!!!
Pam 07/20/05 04:22 pm I would hazard a guess that some of the audience's tiny hands are frozen at the end of the performance as well as Mimi's - it gets pretty chilly when the sun goes down :))
