Zara 08/09/05 07:31 am The first bit is a link to RSPB Scotland, news about Hen Harriers.
http://www.rspb.org.uk/scotland/birdwatching_Scotland/maidenflight.asp

The second for Vicki Re Scotland visit.

Try Abernethy Forest, you can take a look about that on the RSPB link from above, it really depends how far you want to go when you get to Scotland.
I just did a Google search 'birdwatching in Scotland' it came up with this site,

http://www.welcome-scotland.com/tourism-scotland/birdwatching-sites-scotland.html

I had a quick look, it has some of the places we have visited, Handa Island, loads of birds, puffins and breathtaking scenery all around.
Fairy Glen, tranquil...
Falls of Shin, Salmon leaping, dippers diving...(mosquito's biting!!)
And last but not least, Loch Fleet, my favourite place in the whole world! I will be waking up to that on Sunday morning...bliss. Loads of ducks, waders, hopefully the Osprey and lots more.

Hope the links work (I am new to this) and you find them useful, enjoy.
Vicki in S. CA. 08/09/05 04:36 pm Thanks Zara, the RSPB site had some great links. We won't be going as far north as some of them but will enjoy what we can see in the south.
