Pam 09/20/05 08:06 pm Well I have a few mins. internet access, so had to say hi to my feathery friends. Just got back from a fabulous boat trip to Knight Inlet, saw lots of grizzly bears, one mum with cubs, the fish was so plentiful they were just picking them out of the river. More importantly for bird watchers, there were several adult bald eagles in the area and a few juvenile eagles also, posing prettily. Unfortunately I dont have a zoom lens so will have to work on them on the computer. This place is so beautiful We had to be on the boat at 7.a.m. and we set out towards the sunrise, with mists rising and floating around the mountains, just wonderful. Have not had time to read the messages so will have a lot of catching up to do when we get home. Best wishes to all, Pam.
Anne 09/21/05 07:01 am Sounds wonderful Pam. Hope the rest of your holiday is just as enjoyable.

Zara 09/21/05 08:42 am Good to hear from you Pam. It was great to see the photo's Marie posted from your visit, Sounds like you are having a fantastic time. Will look forward to reading about it and seeing some of your photo's too.
Marie 09/21/05 04:27 pm Hi Pam, if you get back in the internet cafe to read some postings.
From what I see Pam you are stuck in the FOG today . Orca live is shrouded in thick mist but the undersea water views are great as are the calls on the hydrophones earlier this am. Hopefully the fog will lift for you. It is wonderful listening to the Northern resident whales. They are so interesting and each family group has a different call.
