||Just looked in and Frieda was feeding the chicks. Sshe first fed the little one, then the other 2 chicks. What a good mom she is.. The chicks are starting to get ;in thier feathers and soon it will match thier (Clod-Hopper feet)
It is funny to see such hugh feet on such little chicks . " The better to grab you with " LOL

||Neat videos and galleries on that site, with great close-ups of the chicks. And I saw one shot that showed the view they have from the nest -- wow, that's a million-dollar view. :-)

||Oh my goodness, the chicks are enormous!
I just looked in and I don't know whether it is the foreshortening due to the camera or that I haven't seen much of them during the day lately! They seem to dwarf Frieda! And the coloring around their eyes is more distinct now... I love the little feathers sprouting.

||Just checked out the cam and they must have just finished eating. I see the remnents of a Lorikeet sitting there.....I was wondering why they haven't built a net with a roof on it for the falcons like they do here. I'm sure it would be much more protection from the sun, since they say it's been getting very hot down there. Just a thought.
