Marie 11/04/05 09:34 am way to go Bluebeard...what a great flyer he is. Simply amazing. It is wonderful to know some of these ospreys survive despite all those hurricanes in the Gulf.
Melanie 11/04/05 09:43 am This was a very unusual pattern for hurricanes int he Gulf of Mexico this year - normally the hurricanes would be taking the East Coast track by Sept & October, which is prime migration time. Hurricanes have more of a tendency to swing into the gulf in the first part of the hurricane season, so they've, in theory, had somewhat of a break this year.
Celeste 11/04/05 12:02 pm Migration is certainly mind-boggling.....a true miracle.....I heard that next year the "experts" expect hurricanes to be taking the East Coast track right to Long Island....."they" keep telling us it is a question of "when" and not "if"....
Cecilia 11/04/05 04:18 pm How exciting and amazing! Thanks for keeping us in touch with Rob's site Karen...I really enjoy his commentaries and maps.
