Thread subject: Animal Planet vs National Zoo
Name Date Message
Melanie 11/14/05 01:34 pm Apropos of absolutely nothing, I brought up both feeds - Animal Planet is about 2-3 seconds AHEAD of the Zoo's webfeed.

Tai is having a good time chewing on the bars in the new den (and his toes). He just went running off after Mom into the painted area and started climbing and rolling around. He amd Mei look like they are having "quality time" this afternoon.
cathleen 11/14/05 03:05 pm True about the time lapse - also the video quality is much better on the Animal Planet site.
FOB Webmaster 11/14/05 04:22 pm I've noticed the Animal Planet cam loads faster than the Zoo cams when I first bring up the page.

But the Zoo cams have sound some of the time, and it's been nice to hear their noises.

Still I spend most of my time on the Animal Planet site when I'm watching.
Mickey 11/14/05 07:28 pm today was the most active bar none. Tai was all over the place. I miss the sound from the Animal Planet site. I like the daily posts on the DC zoo site though. If you get a chance go check out the new vid clip they posted the other day.
FOB Webmaster 11/14/05 07:44 pm Yeah, he was! He was like the Energizer bunny!

The best shot I saw was of mom sitting on the rocks eating bamboo, and Tai sitting at the base of the rocks near her, playing with the bamboo branches. What a great family moment. :-)
Marie 11/14/05 09:27 pm I love it best when he gets so excited lying on his back and plays with the hay and his toes. He really loves the smell of the hay pile it seems. It is going to be fun watching all his climbing antics now.
Cecilia 11/16/05 12:48 pm I haven't checked in here ain a few days...and now I see all the conversations I missed. I too have become hooked on that little imp and I can't stop taking captures. I've gotten a few good ones of them playing and Tai trying to climb. Yesterday was impossible...they played together for so long and then he had a ball with the bars and hay...I couldn't get a thing done :-)
