Thread subject: The Grail Bird
||12/03/05 02:07 pm
||Today I purchased a copy of The Grail Bird.
(Hot on the trail of the ivory woodpecker)
Written by Tim Gallagher who writes for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
Its Currently 36F/2C with 18-24 mph winds making it feel like 26f/-4C, too cold for the camera to function properly outdoors.
Possibly some snow tonight which always make driving to work a white knuckle ride. Im hanging indoors with some Manhattan clam chowder and probably will finish this book off. So far its very good.
Put it on your wish list.

||Thanks, Tim. Keep warm! We're venturing out for dinner with friends in Bablylon in a couple of hours.

||Ooo, glad to hear a second good review of this book! I received it as a gift from a friend not too long ago but have not yet started it. Maybe during my Christmas break, which is still 3 long weeks away. It sure does look like a good read and I am happy to hear that you think so, too!
Pretty nippy up here, too, today; very windy and biting cold, brrrrr!

||I love reading, so I'll have to give the book a try. As you can see it did snow during the night. It looksd beautiful, but it looks pretty heavy. Some areas of Islip and Ronkonkona are having some cable problems now. Probably heavy branches on the line.
