||How was King Kong? 5 star reviews here.

||I haven't seen it nor do I plan to but this morning on the radio, the movie reviewer also gave it a five star rating and said it was the very best Kong film ever made.

||I remember watching a King Kong movie as a child where "Beautiful Dreamer" was the song the girl played on the piano that King Kong loved, (dating myself I know). "Million Dollar movie" was on every night on Television, and each week they would present a new movie, which they repeated that whole week. I watched it each time it was on! Was wondering if they use that same song in the latest movie.

||I know that the new film is faithful to the old one but has more 'Indiana Jones' type action at the beginning of the film.

||Hello all ,,,
I'm currently without a PC @ home as I have moved from the south shore to an inland residence.
Waiting for my new ISP to get installed, getting a new fiber optic provider and I will have 15 mb per second (smokin).
Anyhow I got to see Kong last night.
Leave it to Peter Jackson to make this story most believable. For the most part it's true to the original. The romance between Ann Darrow
(Naomi Watts) & Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody) is much more detailed. The special effects are truly fantastic and by far the best I've seen in any film.
The movie is a little long , almost 3 hours but I totally enjoyed it.
Jack Black as Karl Denham is also portrayed very well. This film might not be suitable for small children as some of the fighting scenes between Kong and other prehistoric creatures on his Island could be scary. I loved the original and totally enjoyed this film. Go see it on the big screen. Bring a tissue.
Celeste,, Beautiful Dreamer was the song played to sooth Mighty Joe Young not Kong.
