>> Subject: FW: Galaxy...this is pretty extraordinary
>> Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida has
>> put up a very interesting page on its site. It
>> begins as a view of the Milky Way Galaxy viewed from
>> a distance of 10 million light years and then zooms
>> in towards Earth in powers of ten. 10 million, to
>> one million, to 100,000 light years and then it

>> Once you click on the site, the software does all

>> click on that and review the process in reverse!
Sorry that I did not keep those directions about getting a "live" link into the message board but cut and paste this site it is worth it

||Wow, that's really cool. Hard to believe we're alone after seeing that. We look like we're some random planet in a random galaxy in a random corner of the universe.
As the saying goes, if we're alone, what a waste of space. haha

||Thanks Karen for sharing that...most interesting and fascinating. All life forms are such that there is an interconnectedness to all things. Birds too. We are all made from STAR DUST.

||WOW ---AWESOME. It shows us how insignificent we are in the Big Picture of things. Lisa, your saying is so true, but hopefully we are not alone. I've taken too many voyages on the Starship Enterprise not to believe.
There was one dissapointment though, I tried stairing at the last picture in hopes of it being a MAGIC EYE image. It wasn't !!! LOL
