Thread subject: Another live birdfeeding cam

Shelley 01/22/05 12:00 pm Just discovered another live action cam and it's great! It's at the Cornell Ornithological Lab in Ithaca, New York. I visited there a couple of years ago (in the summer, though) and it is a wonderful place.

Fred W! 01/22/05 04:04 pm Hey! Neat! Camera view control in Cold New York from Hot Houston, Texas! Plenty of lively birdie activity and pretty falling 'white stuff' (which I remember, oh so well). Can 'they' send us down here any of that cold welcome white stuff in exchange for our plentiful constant warm weather? Ah,... for just a breath of plain clean crisp cold air!
Nancy L 01/23/05 03:06 pm Yes, Fred -- When I go outside on these snowy days, I just stand there breathing in that "clean, crisp, cold air!" I'm glad I'm here, even though I spent 2 hours yesterday shoveling the white stuff- in shifts, of course. We got about a foot.
Celeste 01/23/05 05:59 pm Hi Fred, I was wondering if it was you.....our osprey poet! Glad you mentioned Houston, Texas. I don't think you would enjoy it today.....18 inches plus here on the Island and blizzard conditions.....however, if you didn't stay out too long it was invigorating! However, remember when the street plows would come after you shoveled your whole driveway, and then the plows would graciously block the driveway with lots of snow?
