Thread subject: Quality of picture

Pam 03/27/05 05:43 am I was interested to read Dave's comments about the picture quality. As I write, i.e. before 5.30 a.m. the pic is very blurred - I think someone may have adjusted it as it has just taken on a very pink glow. Compared with the Woods Hole cam it is very blurry. I find it a real strain on the eyes but am frustrated because there is no osprey to watch at Woods Hole. I understand the difficulties and know that "those in charge" are doing their best for us however and thank them for their efforts. In the meanwhile I will have to limit my observation time otherwise my eyesight is going to suffer !
Pam 03/27/05 06:03 am I have now found that if I reduce the picture to about an inch square I can keep an eye on what is happening whilst doing something else, without too much strain on the eyes !
RonS 03/27/05 06:37 pm As the light begins to fade, the picture seems to get fuzzy, as if the aperature adjustment is not quite right. Dave S, it this one of the fine tuning items that DPOF didn't have the time to finalize?
