Thread subject: Dennis's Behaviour

||Have you noticed that Dennis seems to be going to be a very attentive husband? Here he was close by while Betty was laying an egg.
Wonder how it will be later?? Will he be lolling around the house rather than catching fish??

||I think he has great instincts, courting a female, building a nest, fishing, and protecting the nest .Today I watched him chase another bird away and return to the nest to have sex and hurry off in pursuit of the intruder again.
” He’s my new favorite Superhero”, just look at that beautiful brown egg he helped make. I’m glad he has gotten the chance to breed and think he will do very well providing for the female and the chicks.

||Its the reality TV of the osprey world. We all get to peek into their most intimate moments and rate their behavior (or behaviour). I wonder a message board would say if each of us had a web cam trained on us 24 hours aa day.
P.S. I can hardly wait to see the egg. Brown?

||After observing this morning I definitely am impressed with this quiet couple. Dennis so far looks like he will do all the right things. Hopefully our fish supply and weather will be cooperative as it was last year. Hope the "private" pond has been restocked with red fish for them:))))

||cathy please no video on me ... this certainly could be the most studied pair in Ospreyworld. Dennis is doing a great job and it is amazing to see how strong instinct in the anumal world ( and prob ours too but we ignore it more )
