Nancy L 04/12/05 02:03 pm I know you guys said there were osprey there, but I never saw one until this noon. I saw one fly in & land on the nest. I couldn't see if it had a fish or not. The nest isn't all that big & I had had doubts.
Tim P 04/12/05 05:45 pm Nancy I was starting to think that nest had been abandoned. I have been keeping track of the nest
building by comparing photos I've taken.
For the past 5 days there were no sticks added to the nest, nor had I seen an Osprey. .Today as
you report I too saw an Osprey in the nest arranging material. I hope it works out.
Barbara Mc 04/12/05 06:48 pm I never see much action at that nest. If I remember correctly from last year, it was the same thing. Believe it's just a bed and breakfast. No permanent homeowners. The Grumman nest has much more activity.
Nancy L 04/12/05 07:11 pm I'm inclined to agree - maybe it's just used as a resting place.
Tom I 04/12/05 09:54 pm I saw the pair copulating on this nest a week or so ago, but it isn't much of a nest.... Maybe a juvenile pair just starting to get the hang of it?
Nancy L 04/13/05 08:49 pm I passed by @ 4:30 this afternoon & there were 2 osprey sitting together on the nest!
