So far there a 3 shots of the third eaglet being removed from the nest to be sent to Vermont. The eaglet was removed this afternoon! You can really get a sense of how large these babies really are. Just looking at the talons was something. More photos will be added. |

just finished looking at the pictures... I guess I didn't realise just how big the nest was untill I saw those "'tiny" feet in there. The eaglets are bigger than the mans boots. I know that they are supposed to be that big; but I guess it's not until you see them next to something you can identify with; that you truely understand how little they aren't!!! |

Lisa, the webmaster of the Blackwater Site, has added more photos of the 3rd eaglet's removal, and also wrote a "diary" of the day! |

Thanks Lori & Celeste...the pictures were great and that group does a really nice job with that daily (?) diary. Do they have a full time employee who keeps that Weg Log going every day? |

I am pretty sure Lisa the Webmaster is the hardworking gal that keeps that whole site going. |
