While we wait ... If you like loons, here is a cam in Maine, no loons (or any other birds) viewable yet but nice peaceful edge of lake bog scene with plenty of bird sounds, which I am sure all you Americans and Canadians can identify. A very interesting website to explore and learn from too:

I saw some unusual bald eagle behaviour at RR yesterday and managed to get some captures of the adult eagle attacking a young one which was with it, presumably offspring. The adult seemed in a bad mood, had very cold yellow eyes - not a bird to argue with ! I have posted some photos in my album but unfortunately can't get at it myself at the moment because someone has it open. I will post the link when I am able. Could I just ask, if you go to view the albums (of which there is a growing number) that you close the link when you have finished viewing. Thanks very much. Link follows when I can get it for you :) |

Ahhhhhhh Pam, what can I say.......fabulous behavioural shots of eagles. I wonder what that adult was discussing. ??
Looks like a young bird from last years breeding season.
Keep them coming.
Loved the sea lion. Looks like he has quite a bump on his head, but I loved his wave to us all. |
