Tiger 06/07/05 02:25 pm This is from today's Lake District diary.

Does it sound familar??

Tuesday 7th June 2005 The darker side of sibling rivalry; Little One gets fed up with Big One always being first in the food line. Little One pecks Big One on the beak. Big One bashes Little One over the head. Little One falls over backwards. Big One gets even more food. It happens.
JoJo 06/07/05 03:43 pm Can someone clue me in on the subtleties here? I am not familiar with the whole story.
Tiger 06/07/05 03:58 pm It is just that we discuss chick aggression here and I am just pointing out that chick on chick aggression seems to happen everywhere.

The Lake District nest is one of only two in the whole of England.

JoJo 06/07/05 06:10 pm Oh, OK. I thought I perhaps there was something about the comments the author wrote, versus the actual content. I've got it now!
Marie 06/07/05 06:49 pm Reading your post Tiger made me smile.
Exactly what happens in the osprey nest everywhere.
DaveS 06/07/05 07:10 pm JoJo, noticed that you were concerned about a typo on the Obs board. Guess what, we don't play editor! We are on the net, type and we'll figure it out (I make more mistakes than....).
JoJo 06/07/05 09:35 pm Yes, but this was such a good one...MOOM. :)
