When I have both the Loon cam and our Osprey cam on the sounds blend, so I am never sure, unless I switch one off, where the birdsound is, Long Island or Maine. I regularly hear a sound which goes:
da, da, d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d - deeedaaaah
By the way, for those watching now, a very clear pic of the Loons two eggs in the morning light. I hear OUR adult osprey ....
Can anyone identify for me please ? |

I'm so busy guarding two osprey chicks and two unattended loon eggs, I haven't even had my breakfast yet - come back Mums ! |

Well Mama (or PaPa) loon is back and with a contented little sigh settled down on the eggs. They were unattended for half an hour. I know Betty is around so I can safely go and get on with some work. |

Yes Pam, it is hard not to get really hooked into these bird cam sites. Curiosity and a need to know must be in all of us here. |

Hi Pam,
Can't say I know what bird that was....perhaps Tim can help since he knows many of the bird calls in his area...... |
