Pam 06/13/05 12:43 pm You know, I just switched on and thought "where are they all?" Betty was on the left, almost out of shot, only a few dark feathers, and the chicks are lying on the left side, completely still, and they are SOOO difficult to spot against the background of the bottom of the nest. They just blend in with all the twigs and bits and pieces. As I write Betty just lands with some fish in her claws and takes off again immediately. Now (after I have answered the telephone) she is back again clutching the fish in her left foot. Chicks still fast asleep, completely immobile.
Marie 06/13/05 04:49 pm Oh Yes...sometimes my eyes deceive me too. One has to look real hard to find the chicks in certain lights.
