lynn 07/03/07 06:46 pm My apologies on the error on the obs board! I tried to get back to the cam to watch the feeding and was not careful in my typing.

Anne UK1 07/04/07 06:44 am These two chicks are so similar, I'm not sure it's that important getting the id right just now. Maybe when we're keen to know who fledged first, but they'll probably do that together too the way things are going. "After you." "No, no. After you!" They're a funny pair aren't they :)
I am still worried they won't have such a strong survival instinct with everything having been so calm and orderly in the nest. We'll never know of course, but if everything's always come easily to them maybe they'll not be so well adapted to fending for themselves when the time comes. When I think how little Flag fought his way through it all last year, this is a complete contrast. I'd love to know where he is now and what he's doing.
Anne 07/04/07 06:51 am Dont worry about the survival instinct Anne - it's inbuilt.
Anne UK1 07/04/07 10:55 am Yes and I suppose if it's not in any individual the rogue genes are removed from the pool, as they phrased it on the satellite tracking site, so the species stays strong. It's just so odd seeing no in-fighting in the nest, no struggle for supremacy. I hope their lives are always as calm and peaceful.
Madeline 07/05/07 12:40 am Now those are good names,Calm and Peaceful. It describes them to a tee. Uno &n Dos do everything together, as though they are one. They take turns alternating beak fulls of fish from Betty, and then take their naps right next to on eanother.
Maybe they're Patty Duke in disguise...lol
