Thread subject: Uno's chirp vs. Dos' chirp
Name Date Message
cathleen 07/20/07 02:21 pm What I have noticed today is that Uno's chirp is more of the regular fish chirp as Betty's is - monotone and regular rhythm. Dos has more Flag-like. It's slower and softer, musical syncopation with varied tones.
Anne UK1 07/20/07 04:09 pm Are we all starting to favour Dos over Uno. I think I feel myself leaning that way. Yes I agree about the chirps Cathleen.
lynn 07/20/07 06:56 pm Cathleen and Daisy, I know I'm leaning toward Dos, (who I in my mind still think of as Faith)! :-) The chirps deffinitely seem softer and varied by Dos IMO.

martyc35 07/20/07 07:00 pm I've been a Dos fan from the start. Uno began life as one ugly baby, but I admit, he/she got better looking with a little fat and better feathers:-). Dos was cute right from the start.

lynn 07/20/07 07:06 pm Yep you're right on the Dos cuteness right from the get go! :-)

DaisyG 07/20/07 07:16 pm Hmmm...weeeell, I'm afraid I must admit to a teensy bit of favouritism...towards Dos. :)
lynn 07/20/07 09:09 pm Upon some deep and serious thought given to this issue, it has occured to me, perhaps Dos is the underdog, and you know how we humans root for the underdog?!

Pamela 07/20/07 09:39 pm It's such a relief to hear that others think Dos is cute. Hard to believe that a raptor can be thought of in those terms, but Dos has been my favorite from the time he/she started emulating Betty and being such a patient sibling at mealtimes.

You're right Lyn, Dos seems to be the underdog, but the chick is not at a loss for a cheering section.

Madeline 07/21/07 01:26 am Awwww, they've been such bosom buddies, I don't think I can say which one I favor over the other. Yes, we humans do favor the underdog, but we really haven't had a rough and tumble season with sibling rivalrey. It wouldn't be a family if the siblings got along perfectly, a little fighting amongst sibs is healthy, but only a little.
