Thread subject: Snow on the Queens Redtail Nest
Name Date Message
martyc35 02/26/10 01:40 pm It's piling up in Queens, then it is surely piled up for Palemale and his clan. Hope all the birds and other critters can find some food to last through this storm. I don't blame Lincoln for staying inside; what could he see, after all?

Pam 02/26/10 06:53 pm That cam won't work on my computer Marty.
martyc35 02/26/10 07:43 pm Sorry, Pam. I tried to send you the pic, but it wouldn't paste in from Photoshop, don't know why. Anyway, it is just a pic of the nest, mounded high with snow. There are plenty of Central Park pics online, showing their foot and a half of snow. A man was killed in Central Park today when a snow-laden branch fell on him. I'm sure Pale Male and clan will survive, though. They usually do.

Celeste 02/27/10 05:17 am Central Park New York City got 21 inches of snow.
Is it Spring yet? Hopefully because of the time of the year and temps not being frigid, Pale Male's nest should be back to "normal" soon.:-)
