||I'm @ the nest now, sending this via phone. Two osprey on the nest. Both birds seem to be tolerant of each other. I'd put up a picture but it would prob. Break your hearts.

Such mixed emotions this spring. Excitement at all the reports of returning osprey, but very sad to know we're not going to see this nest. Some stills would definitely help :)

||I didn"t intend to keep you all in suspense. ;) I stayed at the nest and observed this pair for a while. Nest building has begun. The male was gathering sticks and returning to the nest. The female sat at the nest receiving the new material. I saw no other osprey in this area today or at several other nest locations I observe.
As many of you know access to the nest is limited , so the photo is a long shot, sorry.
