Tim P 03/19/10 10:49 am I'm @ the nest now, sending this via phone. Two osprey on the nest. Both birds seem to be tolerant of each other. I'd put up a picture but it would prob. Break your hearts.
Melanie 03/19/10 11:04 am Go ahead - break my heart - I'm used to it now ;-p
Pam 03/19/10 11:11 am Oh Tim....quit teasing and put up the darned picture !!
Kathy 03/19/10 11:12 am Hi Tim...my broken heart would feel better seeing a picture.

Celeste 03/19/10 12:34 pm Tim, your having a great time aren't you! Besides, as Kathy said, our hearts are already broken!
Pamela 03/19/10 12:38 pm The Broken Heart Gang are all waiting, Tim. . . . .
Anne UK1 03/19/10 01:09 pm Oh yes Tim, please put up the picture.

Such mixed emotions this spring. Excitement at all the reports of returning osprey, but very sad to know we're not going to see this nest. Some stills would definitely help :)
Tim P 03/19/10 04:19 pm I didn"t intend to keep you all in suspense. ;) I stayed at the nest and observed this pair for a while. Nest building has begun. The male was gathering sticks and returning to the nest. The female sat at the nest receiving the new material. I saw no other osprey in this area today or at several other nest locations I observe.
As many of you know access to the nest is limited , so the photo is a long shot, sorry.
Have a look here. A pair of osprey atop DPOF nest

WillT 03/19/10 07:20 pm Fixed the link posted above so things display correctly. Also fixed the message board search page, which was having problems.
Tim P 03/19/10 07:24 pm Thanx Will.
