Thread subject: WHOI - who's been sleeping in my nest?
Name Date Message
Melanie 04/07/10 12:16 pm I checked in on WHOI to find a couple of very randy house sparrows, making whoopee. 7 times within 10 seconds. Talk about slam, bam, thank you ma'am! It looks like the are working on a nest under one of the branches in the lower left of the nesting platform
martyc35 04/07/10 01:15 pm Now we have a clearer idea of what "feelin' their oats" really means.

Melanie 04/07/10 01:57 pm Hee Hee. Even I could have used a cigarette after that little vignette!
Pam 04/08/10 04:09 am True - the sparrows have been very busy and I wondered if they were nesting too. I haven't seen an Osprey recently and wonder if anyone else has. Is there a forum where people discuss WH and report sightings does anyone know? Is it getting a bit late now for them to return to this nest and settle in?
Melanie 04/08/10 11:36 am Jazzel will be the best source for the WHOI goings- ons.
Pam 04/08/10 04:23 pm Well...I just noticed there is a new link to a blog now which is good. I think Jazzel probably had a lot to do with it.
Pam 04/08/10 04:30 pm The next mystery to be solved is how you post a comment - just tried but apparently you have to have some sort of account ?? Why does everything have to be so difficult?
jazzel26 04/09/10 08:21 am Pam, on the blog page, under followers, click on sign in. On that page you can choose a blog account you already have, or open a new Google blog account.

Hope this helps!!
Pam 04/09/10 11:26 am Thanks Jazzel
Pam 04/09/10 06:12 pm Well I can understand why there are no comments so far. I just don't get it. I tried via Twitter...no luck. I give up.
