Shelley 05/03/10 06:13 am Wow. That is a powerful diary, Marty.
martyc35 05/03/10 11:46 am I heard on NPR news this morning that dead sea turtles are washing up down there already. So sad, and so infuriating.

Celeste 05/03/10 07:37 pm Marty you definitely summed up what I feel.."so sad, and so infuriating"
Shelley 05/03/10 09:19 pm I second that. Also, what about those animals and wildlife who survive? Where will they go? Where will they live? What will they EAT??? Especially those who eat fish? Will fish and other sea life even survive at all? Will the waters ever be clean again, even if they manage to *clean up* the mess?

This is absolutely a disaster that could (and likely will) alter the ecosystem. The ripple effect is enormous.
