Thread subject: Back from my European adventure
||05/07/10 01:22 pm
||Yesterday I caught up on my wolves & today I caught up on our Message Board. I expected to spend 5 days in Portugal & Spain, but because of the volcanic ash, I ended up with 5 days in France. I made the most of it.
Thanks for the great photos from the Arboretum, Celeste. I'm sure you also saw the ospreys on the weeping beech by the parking lot. I usuallly go to Paridise Island to see 2 - 4 other nests.
And Terry, thanks for the Carmans photos.
I stopped by our Puleston nest on Wed. afternoon & saw 'Betty' sitting on her eggs. I figure one to two weeks for some chicks to hatch. There should be more activity then with 'Dennis' bringing in the fish.

||Glad your trip turned out nicely!

||Welcome back, Nancy. Sorry the ash made you detour, but I'm sure you found interesting diversions in France. Will we see some pics from there?

||Sorry to say, I'm still using throw away cameras, & actually I'm not that happy with my photos, except for the 'stave' church in Norway.

||Thanks for the nest update Nancy, the beat of life goes on and on thankfully. I can think of worse places to get stuck than in France lol. Sounds like an exciting trip and safe return.
