Anne UK1 05/08/10 07:15 am It must be amazing to see that many geese flying overhead! Best shot, as ever, was of course the ospreys. What is it about them that's so captivating?
martyc35 05/08/10 12:51 pm Thr ospreys in this video were a pleasant surprise. I think they just look and sound so expressive, and of course, watching the DPOF nest has made them extra special to us, I'm sure. Glad you enjoyed this. I particularly liked the long-billed curlews. I have yet to see those in real life, even though they do migrate through CA. I remember (vaguely) a short story by Gabriel Garcia Marquez in which people had their eyes pecked out by curlews. Ugh.

Pam 05/08/10 05:28 pm Just got around to watching this Marty. Nice little film...thank you. The wide open spaces of America never fail to impress me.
