Hoku fledges

It's at the 02:04:00 mark

So sweet. I hope there might be another clutch soon in one of the other nests in that guy's rose bush. He says there are several nests there and that she (Phoebe) rotates between them, sometines using pieces of one to rebuild another.

Apparently that's the last brood for this season Shelley. Nesting starts again in October which works out very nicely really as we've so many osprey nests to be watching at the minute.

Such pretty little birds those hummers, but oh so vulnerable. I would think the host will enjoy a few weeks rest and relaxation now, and well earnt too!
