martyc35 06/06/10 03:33 pm Cardinal fills in with pics from Amsterdam, Strasbourg, and fun stuff from a European jaunt. Commenters add others, too. A welcome break from the Gulf horrors.

Pamela 06/06/10 04:11 pm I'm more than ready to pack my bags! Thanks Marty.
Shelley 06/06/10 06:25 pm Loved this one!! And terrific photos, too!

Did you notice the link to the article about the heron eating the baby bunny? Luckily, I have become somewhat desensitized to that sort of thing by watching Molly's owl box in California. Bunnies are part of their regular diet, though I will admit to shock the first time I witnessed it! ;-)
martyc35 06/06/10 07:09 pm Ooops. Glad I didn't hit that link. I stopped doing links after finding an annoying drum machine at the market in Amsterdam:-). I can hardly bear to watch HGTV anymore, since they employed someone with a machine that pounds out unnecessary accompaniments to every shot. Ugh. Whoever invented the Moog Synthesizer should have thought twice. Well, I guess that would have been Mr or Ms Moog!
