Thread subject: WHOI - nobody home but us sparrows
Name Date Message
Melanie 06/09/10 01:43 pm I haven't seen any osprey on the nest now for nearly a week (and why should they hang around?). Who remembers the last time they were seen?
Lori 06/09/10 02:44 pm I actually did see her brooding yesterday in the morning but by the time I tuned in later in the afternoon, no one was home. :(
Anne UK1 06/09/10 05:22 pm I just looked in for first time in a while. And guess what - it's the Same old story
martyc35 06/09/10 05:52 pm Ugh. Looks like they are acting more like pack rats than birds. I guess we wait until next year on that nest. Too bad so much time and energy was spent working on a proper cam, which, ironically, seems splendid now.

cathleen 06/09/10 09:45 pm I saw them both yesterday, but yes, it was the same old story. They should either s**t or get off the pot! I hope by next year they figure out what they are doing wrong.
Pamela 06/10/10 07:37 am I don't know why I hesitated posting an observation on this site--perhaps thinking you were all tired of seeing no action, but I did post a comment on their site yesterday.
You might all enjoy the third comment.
Celeste 06/10/10 02:46 pm Pam, maybe I'm dizzy, I just went there to check things out, and I can't figure out where to see your comment, ( unless you have to sign up as a member) OH, and there is an adult brooding now....crazy nest!
Melanie 06/10/10 02:56 pm Me, neither.

But she's back on the eggs and he's munching away on a flounder.
