terryo 06/19/10 04:52 pm Hope these pictures can take our minds off what's happening at Loch of the Lowes for a few minutes. Saw 8-10 ospreys along the Carmans this morning. The descriptions of each picture can be found under each pict. Enjoy the pictures:

Anne UK1 06/19/10 05:23 pm Thanks Terry. Great shots as ever - and today is a day that needs great shots. Much appreciated :)
Pamela 06/19/10 05:26 pm Thanks for your terrific pictures Terry. It's always great to see LI ospreys, especially in a leafy tree. Funny, I've always noticed them on snags, perches, or really visible limbs. Loved your comment on balding, perfect :-)
Just wondering about the length of your kayak. After reading Lori's post, it has me really thinking about them and checking out details. Thanks.
terryo 06/19/10 06:30 pm Pamela, my kayak is about 13 feet, it's a good size for rivers etc., wouldn't use it out in the Bay though.
Celeste 06/19/10 07:25 pm Terry you are officially our on the spot Long Island Osprey News Reporter and Photographer! Your photos made me smile!
martyc35 06/19/10 09:12 pm Thank you, Terry. Great shots as always, and so good to see Betty and the DPOF nest. Tomorrow I will send some more pics from Humboldt Bay.

cathleen 06/19/10 10:02 pm Awww....Terry, you are the best. Thanks so much for reminding us that life is continuing well at OUR nest and in the LI area. Your pictures were indeed beautiful and your fitting comments made me laugh! :))
Nancy L 06/20/10 01:35 pm Thanks so much, Terry, Wonderful photos. If I dare ask, maybe next time you could include a couple photos of the river itself & environs, just as a reference. Thanks.
terryo 06/20/10 03:05 pm I already have some scenery shots just didn't post them yesterday Nancy. I'll whip some up in the next couple of days.
