Trishrg 06/20/10 07:49 pm Awesome scenery Terry. Just beautiful surroundings.
I love the great egret fishing!! They just stand and "wait".
Very cool to watch.
martyc35 06/20/10 09:53 pm Thanks, Terry. I love scenery, too. Here's a shot of a GBH who caught a snake. This one is in the vicinity of Olympia, WA. My sister-in-law took the pic on her way home from their vacation.

Pam 06/21/10 06:29 am Enjoyed your photos as usual Terry - looks pretty peaceful there on the river.
Nancy L 06/21/10 11:53 am Thanks a lot, Terry.
Tell me about 'nest # 2.' Is # 1 the leaning one by the path? Then where do I look for # 2 when I'm on the river?
terryo 06/21/10 03:41 pm Nancy, what I call nest #1 is the leaning one just off the White Oaks path at Wertheim. You go past #1, go around the bend to the right, come to the bend at the left and about 20 yards or so after you make the left you should be able to see what I call nest #2. If stands between several evergreen trees and there is a dead tree right next to it where the male likes to hang out.
