Thread subject: Stunning photography of birds and animals
Name Date Message
Shelley 07/09/10 09:23 pm I was in a store earlier today and came across a coffee table book called simply *Birds*. Of course, I had to have a peek through. I didn't buy it but I've been googling all evening now. It is a photography book, by the incredibly talented artist Andrew Zuckerman. His specialty is photographing single subjects against white backgrounds. Amazing closeups, exquisitely sharp images, colours. The feather details alone are amazing. Have a look: Birds

There is also a cute clip of him on the Ellen show, talking about his previous book, Creatures.

Here is an article I also found on my google search.

I could go on and on but just google if you want more.

Celeste 07/10/10 05:04 am That was so beautiful Shelley! Astounding really. Love one of the comments made.

Did you watch his video on the making of the Bird--astounding and funny also!

The Making of Bird

Shelley 07/10/10 07:35 am Thanks! Ok, straying off topic just a bit, did you see his newest book, called Wisdom? Astounding. He is really quite a guy, for only 32 years old!

Wisdom

And I loved this almost more: the making of Wisdom

Anne UK1 07/10/10 07:42 am Wonderful photos. Lots to follow up on there too. One of these days I'll get some housework done!
Celeste 07/10/10 08:45 am Only 32! Wow, astounding work. Love it ALL! On one of his interviews when he was doing the Creature Book, he enjoyed the elephant the most as it was the most intelligent.
