Thread subject: First fledge at LOTL
Name Date Message
DaisyG 07/11/10 05:21 am Unfortunately it seems the first fledge reported yesterday turned out to be erroneous. The chick must have flown over to the far left of the nest out of sight.

First fledge was at 09.09 BST today, Here is footage of the whole sequence taken from Cam 2

Fledge!
Celeste 07/11/10 05:26 am Great news! It certainly looked to be at any moment when I was watching early morning.
Shelley 07/11/10 06:35 am I am guessing then that that is what was going on yesterday when I saw what I thought was an empty nest. They must have been just out of cam vision.
Anne UK1 07/11/10 07:05 am Thanks Daisy! ACE444 has the landing too - here :))
DaisyG 07/11/10 08:13 am Yes Anne, she also got the landing on Cam 1

Here :)
DaisyG 07/11/10 08:15 am Yesterday the HD cam wasn't on so the angle and pic were very bad. Not surprising there were misunderstandings. Much better today.
Anne UK1 07/11/10 08:28 am Yes, we've got the proper cam back today. I've not been able to look in for the last few hours though so I'm relying on you and others to capture any big moments for us!
DaisyG 07/11/10 09:14 am Will certainly try but am trying to catch up with a few jobs and can only download from one cam at a time. Trying to watch LG and LOTL off and on :)
DaisyG 07/11/10 09:15 am Am sure there will be no shortage of eyes on these cams right now :)
martyc35 07/11/10 12:46 pm Well, good. Sterling accomplishments all round, and I'm glad the confusion is cleared up.
Marty
