Anne 08/13/10 05:06 pm I am told that you have to wear a net if you want to go birdwatching in the Arctic Circle. There are times when waders just have to open their mouths and the food pours in unaided!
martyc35 08/13/10 06:44 pm Yes, I rode a bus out the trails on Denali in Alaska, and I did NOT get a shot of a beautiful loon on the small lake we visited because I was too cowardly to brave the swarms of mosquitoes outside. Most of my busmates who went outside came scrambling back in a few seconds.
