jazzel26 10/08/10 10:51 am Penelope is the first juvenile female to carry a transmitter to South America and back, but not the first juvenile. Three juvenile males have had successful migrations.

Jaws, tagged 04, returned 06 & 07
Homer, tagged 05, returned 07 & 08
Conomo, tagged 07, returned 09

All are believed to be alive, with worn out transmitters.

I'm not giving up on Penelope just yet.
