Anne-UK1 04/05/11 06:06 pm Has someone been adding bits to the nest? Marty posted a screen shot on 26th March - I've put it alongside one I took just now for comparison. Marty's on the right and mine on the left in this Pic
Pamela 04/05/11 06:47 pm I keep missing the two I saw one evening, but am wondering if the RTH is the reason they are staying away.
Jazzel, where are you when we need your comments?
martyc35 04/05/11 06:54 pm Sorry to say I can't tell, but whenever I've looked in recently, it always looked still the same to me. Is there anyone out there at WH, watching?

Melanie 04/05/11 11:59 pm I've been wondering the same thing, Anne but it may just be wishful thinking and the weather. Those sticks laying up on the perch don't appear to have moved.
Anne-UK1 04/06/11 03:08 am Not easy to see, but when I enlarge the picture, I see an extra stick laying up to the perch (right hand side of the group) and the big fat stick towards the left of the nest on Marty's pic has moved towards the middle of the nest. I'm sure someone has been adding/moving existing sticks, but maybe it is just an RTH.
Pam 04/06/11 05:05 am I saw another visitor a few days ago (pics on my Flickr page). They aren't very clear. The small bird had a flash of bright red on the back of its neck. I was thinking maybe a Northern Flicker. Can anyone positively identify? No ospreys unfortunately.

Northern Flicker AKA Yellow Shafted Flicker.
jazzel26 04/06/11 09:33 am A pair of ospreys were on the nest 4/2, I believe the residents. An osprey was on the nest yesterday for about 5 min., I'm not sure on the ID. I have videos of both days posted on the BCAW forum.
Pam 04/06/11 10:01 am Thanks very much Tim and jazzel.
Anne-UK1 04/06/11 04:54 pm Thanks Jazzel. Fingers crossed for a better year this time.
