Thread subject: Confusing. . .
Name Date Message
Pamela 04/15/11 11:16 am It has proven rather confusing keeping Scotland's Osprey names under control and I am not even mentioning the Osprey Roy Dennis follows.

Friends of the DPOF would you please check the following. Thanks :))

Loch of the Lowes current cam pair: Lady or Marge (female) and Y7 or Laird (male).

Loch Garten cam pair: EJ (female) and Odin (male).
Anne-UK1 04/15/11 01:29 pm I presume you want confirmation that you've got them right Pamela? Laird's leg ring is Green 7Y. Apart from that, spot on :)
Tiger 04/15/11 01:35 pm Pamela is actually more complicated than that.

I have seen the Loch of the Lowes female called

1. Marge

2. Lady

3. Lady Marge

4. Lola (particularly annoying in view of Pale Male)

5. Isla

Then the male

1. The Laird

2. Frank

3. green 7Y

Pamela 04/15/11 01:44 pm Oh my quite enough for today, I am beginning to see the picture :))
Thank you Anne and Tiger.
martyc35 04/15/11 01:49 pm And don't forget my name for Green 7Y is Seventy. Just kidding, Pamela. But I do still tend to use Marge over any of the other LotL female names. I'm just used to it, I guess.

DaisyG 04/15/11 04:44 pm I am sticking with Marge and Frank :)
Used to be Marge and Eric of course...I loved the name 'Stressed Eric', so apt with Marge around :)
Anne-UK1 04/15/11 05:05 pm Marge and 7Y for me.

At least EJ and Odin are straightforward :)
