Thread subject: Male Osprey at Glacier NP St Mary Osprey Cam May Have Died
Name Date Message
FOB Webmaster 05/20/11 10:44 am Glacier National Park tweeted that the male osprey on their St Mary Osprey Cam may have died by contact with a power line. On the cam page it says "Thanks to Glacier Electric for placing the pole here for the osprey. The pole allowed them to nest safely without building on the power transformers on a nearby power pole." So the line must have been close.
Nancy L 05/20/11 10:57 am Thanks for that site - I didn't have it. Sorry about the male. Hope the female can manage.
Anne-UK1 05/24/11 05:59 pm That's so sad. I can't find any discussions or news updates for this site. Have you heard any more Lisa?
